Green Shoes Events is an Irish experiential marketing and events business, with a
focus on quirky, innovative events and creative marketing campaigns. We are the
in-house Event Managers for The Chocolate Factory in Dublin 1, booking, managing
and coordinating arts, corporate, and public events throughout the year in the spaces.
We also organise our own events throughout Ireland and work with clients to develop
bespoke events, promotional campaigns, and even quirky, non-traditional weddings,
that fit the vision they have and the budget they are working with.
In its second year, WedFest 2018 is an alternative wedding festival, focused on
celebrating the individuality of couples and highlighting the number of options for
couples who don’t want to go down the entirely traditional route for their wedding.
Returning to The Chocolate Factory, Dublin 1 on November 4th 2018, we are looking for
an enthusiastic and dedicated bunch of volunteers who are interested in seeing what
goes on behind the scenes of an event of this scale, gain experience and boost their
CV.
Your tasks on the day will be mainly assisting the production team with all aspects of
running a small one day ‘festival’ - stewarding, crowd control, event management, social
media, photography and everything in between. We are looking for an all rounder,
someone who is willing to muck in and isn’t afraid of some hard work! In return….you
get access to people who aren’t afraid to give fantastic references, an inside look at how
events are run and lunch!
